About the Artist

            My name is Josh Hodges and my current artwork has been directly influenced by being a survivor of brain cancer and dealing with the side effects of brain surgery. Being a survivor of brain cancer has given me a unique outlook on life, an outlook that has allowed me to appreciate the small miracles of the natural world. An emphasis on the miraculous beauty of nature is one theme of my work. My variety of collections is another theme I address. Dealing with the side effects of surgery, especially constant hunger, has caused me to have a wide range of interests, evident in these collections.
